Note:
Servo horns were replaced with wheels. With the
wheels I was able to set the ball joints vertically
without having to use any "TRIMS". |
Step 1 |
Adjust the bellcranks
for the following servos for vertical or horizontal
positioning.
Remove the "wheel"
from the servo and find a position where the holes for
the ball joints will natural sit as close to 90°. |

Adjust pushrods 1 as
indicated on the manual to level the swash plate. |
Step 3 |
Adjust pushrods 2 to
center the autorotation bearing within the brass lined
slot. |
Step 4 |
Adjust double ball
links to 42mm. |
Step 5 |
Adjust ball links
until mixer arms are leveled. |
Step 6 |
Blade #1.
Leveled at 50% throttle at 0° pitch. |
Blade #2.
Leveled at 50% throttle at 0° pitch. |
This is the initial
set up for the main rotor. Set the left stick at
50%. When the pitch is at -10° the throttle should
be at 0°. When the pitch is at +10° the throttle
should be at 100%. |
