Installation - Radio Set Up

Start a new helicopter model on your transmitter.

Select swash type to H1 (Normal)

Set up AUX1, AUX2, AUX3

AUX1 - right slider for Pilot channel

AUX2 - left slider for H Pilot

AUX3 - three position switch for Autotrim & Face Home

Throttle Curve - If this will be installed on a helicopter that has already been flown then there is no need to adjust the throttle curves.

Tail Servo & Gyro - There are two options for setting up the tail.

1 - "Face Home" feature which requires the use of the internal gyro.  The Face Home feature is great for flying back to "base" if the heli has been flown to a distance.  Toggle the switch and the helicopter will turn around.  Add forward cyclic.

The Face Home feature can also be combined in Failsafe mode.  Forward cyclic can be added in failsafe therefore the helicopter will "Fly Home".  Once the helicopter is over its "start point" then the helicopter will circle above.

2 - "Jumper Mode" feature is a safety feature to bypass the Profi system.  If the Profi system were to fail then the pilot will still have control of the helicopter.  This requires the use of an external gyro.  More below...

Pilot Channel - The Pilot channel controls the stabilization modes, horizontal and positional, and their gain levels via a slider or switch.  For this review I assigned the pilot channel to the right slider.

H Pilot Channel - The H Pilot channel controls the altitude stabilization modes, hold and damping, and their gain levels via a slider or switch.  For this review I assigned the pilot channel to the left slider.

Autotrim Channel - The Autotrim channel is recommended to be assigned to a momentary switch or a push button type switch.  A two or three position switch can be used as well.  For this review I assigned it to a three position switch.

Jumper Mode

You will need to install the jumper, supplied with the kit, onto the RC Module.

NOTE: In failsafe all internal mixers are disabled therefore Jumper Mode is only possible for helicopters with single servo linkage (H1/CCPM).

All servos are active immediately upon startup therefore it is important that the Profi is given time to run its self test.

Remember to use an external gyro if enabling Jumper Mode.
