There are two recommended places to install the foam ball; above the fuse right below the blade grips and second is at the end of the tailboom using the CF rods provided.  If installing on the tailboom then the ball would have to be above the rotor plane.

I placed the foam ball above the fuse.

Cut a short piece of the silicone tubing provided to attach the end of the foam ball tube to the yellow tube.

At this point, CAPTRON recommends that a flight test is done before installing the GPS.  Make sure the helicopter is trimmed and all the Profi functions are working correctly. 

Skip over to the software installation if this is your first time installing the Profi.

Then go back to the GPS installation.

Shortly after receiving the unit CAPTRON sent a "new" air pressure filter.

I used the CF rods provided and mounted it right underneath the frame.
