Software Configuration - Tail Gyro

 


   

   

 

NOTE:

 

DJI recommends to first select the Servo Type before connecting the tail servo

 

• Make sure there is no mechanical binding with the tail assembly

 

• When moving the rudder stick make sure the tail servo is moving in the correct direction

 

• Don't forget to configure both Rate and HH mode

 

• Adjust your tail in Rate mode.  If your tail drifts in one direction then adjust accordingly.  You can either mechanically adjust or use trims.

 

• After the tail has been adjusted toggle the tail switch three times to record the center position.

 

   
Rudder (RUD) Servo Output Direction

Reverse, Normal

 

Check the direction of the tail servo if it is moving in the correct direction.  Reverse as necessary.

Use only Digital Tail servos.

 

760uS - BLS251, 256, S9256, S9251, BL9188. 

 

Choosing 333Hz will reduce servo temp.

 

1520uS - S9254, JR8900G, HS7940. 

 

Choosing 270Hz will reduce servo temp.

 

Please obtain tail servo frequency response from servo manufacturer, and use lower frequency than specification to avoid servo over heat.

 

 

Travel Limit

Use these sliders to set the travel limit of the tail slider.

 

   

Click on WRITE button.
