1. Perform a range test.
Some radios has a range test
feature.
If not do it
manually. Shorten the
antenna and walk away.
Have an assistant to observe if the
system goes into AUTO mode.
If it goes into AUTO mode then
inspect the
installation for any interference.
2. Trim the helicopter.
(The Trex600 was
mechanically trimmed. Zero
sub-trims)
3. Set hover at mid-stick.
4. As an extra precaution
spool up without the main
